Impressive start by Kunigal Juveniles

The Kunigal Stud Farm bred juveniles have been hogging the limelight during the ongoing Bangalore Winter Season, with a number of them winning the races meant for first season runners. Exclusive Grey, who is bred as full sister to the champion sprinter Caprese, has already established himself as a sprinter of immense potential by recording back-to-back victories.

Exclusive Grey, who is racing in the famous silks of Dr M A M Ramaswamy, won the New Year Trophy, despite conceding weight to his opponents, in the manner of a top class horse. Surely he will go places.

Another three-year old which won in tremendous fashion was Fleeting Arrow who is by Burden of Proof out of Calcutta Oaks winning mare Sabre Dance. Fleeting Arrow, who is owned by Mr. Ramanujala Reddy, won a race meant for juveniles, by swamping the opposition without having to raise a sweat. The owner intends to run the talented three-year old in the Mumbai juvenile millions including a possible tilt in the Gr 1 Poonawalla Breeders’ Multi-Million.

Prince Ville is yet another youngster of promise to have impressed the discerning with the quality of his win. The son of Brave Act out of Imposing, Prince Ville is a half-brother to the Bangalore Derby winning Fantabulous King. The manner in which Prince Ville stretched away from the field suggested that he is another juvenile who is slated to climb the ladder. His trainer Ganapathy thinks highly of this talented son of Brave Act.

Poetic (Serious Spender) made a winning debut and finished a suggestive second in her next outing.
